SkyTeam Opens New Airport Lounge in Hong Kong

Global airline alliance SkyTeam has opened a new lounge at Hong Kong International Airport, serving first and business class passengers and Elite Plus members flying on all 12 member airlines.

Spanning 1,000sqm, the former China Airlines lounge can seat up to 230 passengers and offers a range of amenities, including a yoga room, a noodle bar, work stations, charging points, complimentary Wi-Fi access, shower facilities, and a hot and cold buffet, wreathed by more than 50 different plant species.

“Our goal is to invest in shared facilities at airports around the world in order to deliver a consistently high level of service to our members’ customers as well as creating synergies for our members at airports served by multiple SkyTeam airlines,” says SkyTeam’s managing director Michael Wisbrun. “This exclusive lounge will provide a relaxing environment for passengers in which to unwind before catching their next flight.”

The exclusive lounge is located at Terminal 1 and is open daily between 05:30 and 01:00.

The 12 SkyTeam member airlines serving Hong Kong International Airport include Aeroflot, Air France, China Airlines, China Eastern Airlines, China Southern Airlines, Delta Air Lines, Garuda Indonesia, Kenya Airways, KLM, Korean Air, Vietnam Airlines, and Xiamen Airlines. www.skyteam.com
