Royal Jordanian to Offer Flights to Guangzhou

Royal Jordanian will inaugurate a new regular route from Amman, Jordan, to Guangzhou – the airline’s second Chinese destination and the fifth in the Far East – from March 21, 2016, with three flights per week, allowing business travellers the chance to fly into the largest city in South Central China.

“Adding Guangzhou to the route network is in line with the strategy that Royal Jordanian is now implementing; one of the pillars of this strategy is to review the route network and open new, profitable markets,” says Royal Jordanian president and CEO Captain Suleiman Obeidat.

The airline will fly to Guangzhou via Bangkok on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays, using its wide-body Boeing 787, which features 24 flat-bed seats and 246 standard seats, or an Airbus 330 aircraft, with 24 angle-flat seats and 259 standard seats. According to the winter flight schedule, the outbound service will depart from Queen Alia International Airport, Amman, at 02:30 and reach Guangzhou at 20:15; while the return leg will depart Guangzhou at 22:05 and land in Amman at 05:25 the following day.

As per the summer flight schedule, which will start at the end of March, the outbound flight will leave Queen Alia International Airport, Amman, at 03:35 am and reach Guangzhou at 20:45. The return flight will depart Guangzhou at 22:05 and land in Amman at 06:00 the following day. www.rj.com
