Radisson Blu Opens in Coimbatore, India

Carlson Rezidor Hotel Group has opened the Radisson Blu Coimbatore in India, providing more accommodation options for business travellers in the second largest city in the Indian state of Tamil Nadu.

Radisson Blu Coimbatore is seven kilometres away from Coimbatore International Airport and Coimbatore Junction, the city’s primary railway station, and close to textile and engineering industries.

The 135-room property provides a range of meeting spaces, including an 873sqm banquet hall, with additional pre-function areas and a lawn for pre-event entertainment. The hotel also offers 24-hour in-room dining, a Business Class Lounge, business centre, and fitness centre.

Dining options at the hotel include Seasons, an all-day-dining restaurant serving international cuisine; The Great Kebab Factory, an Indian restaurant; and The Lounge Bar.

“Radisson Blu Coimbatore is set to raise the bar on the city’s upper-upscale hospitality landscape and bring new standards to the city,” says Raj Rana, CEO South Asia, Carlson Rezidor Hotel Group. “With 140 hotels in operation and under-development, this hotel will be a valued addition as we expand and grow our footprint in South India.” www.radissonblu.com
