Quests Targets Major Expansion in 2015

Quest Serviced Apartments has opened Quest Liverpool in Sydney’s West, kicking off an impressive pipeline of new property openings in New South Wales, Australia.

The brand is simultaneously opening Quest Nowra in one of NSE’s busiest regional business centres, and will shortly follow this up with the opening of Quest’s second Albury property, Quest Albury on Townsend on May 4.

The rush of openings represents Quest’s confidence in its aggressive growth strategy in New South Wales and the future success of the new properties.

“Liverpool, Nowra and Albury are perfect examples of how Quest meets the accommodation needs of the corporate market across Australia, “said Quest CEO Zed Sanjana. “All three economies are strong, with a number of major projects underway, including the multimillion dollar Kurrajong Road (Liverpool) and Princes Highway (Nowra) upgrades, and the redevelopment of the Albury Art Gallery.”

“The City of Liverpool is thriving, home to 13,600 local and national businesses, with 35,000 new jobs projected by 2036. Economic activity in Nowra and the City of Shoalhaven is doing well and we believe significant investment in the region will continue,” added Sanjana. “Albury is quickly establishing itself as not only a key business centre, but also a cultural destination.”

“I congratulate our new franchisees – Tom Wang at Quest Liverpool and James Blanchett at Quest Nowra, along with Noel and Madeleine Wood and Natasha and Jason Callewaert at Quest Albury on Townsend – for working hard to get to this point,” he concluded. “I know all three properties are in good hands and look forward to their future success.”

Quest Liverpool franchisee Tom Wang was thrilled to open the brand’s new property today, and brings a wealth of experience to the role, having run his own businesses in Canberra for over five years.

“I thank Quest for the opportunity to be a franchisee and can say with confidence that its high standard of accommodation has been maintained at Quest Liverpool, ensuring guests will have nothing but the best,” said Wang. “Badgerys Creek Airport is underway just 19km away, which will significantly decrease travel time to the area, greatly benefitting the flourishing local business community. We’re also within close proximity to Westfield Shopping Centre and Liverpool Plaza, ensuring our guests are entertained on their downtime.”

James Blanchett has taken on the role of Quest Nowra franchisee after more than two years with Quest Corporate Head Office as NSW area sales manager. James has seamlessly transitioned into his new role and echoed the brand’s confidence in the state.

“Nowra really is the commercial heart of the Shoalhaven region and that is not a title that is easily earned,” said Blanchett. “Quest’s style of high-quality, extended-stay accommodation perfectly suits the requirements of Australia’s defence force – one of the most prominent industries in the area. Quest Nowra offers the ideal location for both corporate and leisure travellers, just moments from the amenities of Stockland Shopping Centre, numerous restaurants and cafes, and the Nowra Farmers Markets. I look forward to opening our doors next week and can’t wait to fulfil the high standards set by Quest and ensure all our guests have the best ‘home away from home’ experience.”

Quest Albury on Townsend franchisee Noel Wood is looking forward to capitalising on his industry knowledge, gained over 15 years with the Quest network, to further strengthen Quest’s reputation among local corporates as the most reliable, high-quality accommodation offering in the region.

Natasha, Jason, Madeleine and I are thrilled to be opening Quest Albury on Townsend in May,” said Wood. “We are very pleased with how the property has been completed, retaining the fantastic heritage exterior. The property is ideally placed to meet the growing demand for accommodation in the local area, serving both local and national businesses.”

All locations feature brand new serviced apartments with kitchen and laundry facilities, separate living and dining areas, LED smart TVs, WiFi, Foxtel cable channels, onsite parking, gymnasiums and conference room facilities.

Guests also enjoy traditional Quest services such as pantry shopping, dry cleaning services, restaurant chargeback and business administration.

2015 is set to be an exciting year of growth for Quest across Australasia, with 12 new properties opening in Australia and three in New Zealand. In addition to Liverpool, Nowra and Albury, this includes Newcastle West, Chatswood and Bella Vista (NSW); Kelvin Groze, Toowoomba and Chermside (Queensland); Rockingham and West Perth (Western Australia); Maribyrnong (Victoria); and Nelson, Taupo and Whangarei (New Zealand). www.questapartments.com.com
