Qatar Increases Frequencies to Manila

From October 26, 2015, Qatar Airways will add six extra flights per week between Doha and Manila, following an expanded Air Service Agreement signed by the State of Qatar and the Republic of Philippines.

The Doha-based carrier currently offers eight flights per week to Manila’s Ninoy Aquino International Airport in Manila.

With the increase in weekly flights, Qatar Airways will operate a full twice-daily service to Manila, in addition to its daily flights between Clark and Doha.

The Doha-Manila route is operated by Boeing 777 aircraft, featuring 24 Business Class seats and 256 seats in Economy Class. Passengers travelling in Business Class enjoy comfortable fully-flat beds with a 78-inch seat pitch, as well as five-star food and beverage which is served on demand.

The additional flights will run every day except Sundays. The outbound flight departs Doha at 0830 and arrives in Manila at 2215; the return leg leaves Manila at 2359, touching down in Doha at 0505 the next morning.

Qatar Airways Premium and Economy Class passengers travelling beyond Doha can also enjoy the airline’s state-of-the-art home base, Hamad International Airport. Home to one of the world’s largest Business Class lounges, the Al Mourjan Business Lounge, the airport also has more than 70 retail and 30 food and beverage outlets offering a premier duty free experience.

“The increase in flight frequencies on the Doha-Manila route serves to further strengthen commercial and trade links between our two countries and we are delighted to be able to provide our Philippines-based passengers with greater connectivity options when they choose to fly with Qatar Airways,” said the airline’s CEO, Akbar Al Baker. “Now, more passengers will be able to experience our award-winning hospitality and also our state-of-the-art Hamad International Airport when transiting seamlessly onward to their final destination. Passengers travelling with Qatar Airways beyond Doha can also look forward to flying on some of the world’s most advanced aircraft, including the A350 XWB. www.qatarairways.com
