Qatar Expands Network across Eastern Europe

Qatar Airways has launched an expansion programme across Eastern Europe, enabling business travellers to benefit from a wide range of additional flight options via Doha’s Hamad International Airport.

Flights to Zagreb in Croatia and Budapest in Hungary will increase to a ten-times-weekly service from a current daily service from April 3 and July 3 respectively; while flights to Baku, Azerbaijan, will increase to an 11-times-weekly service – also from a current daily scheduled flight – on March 27. The airline will also launch new direct flights from Doha to Belgrade, the capital of Serbia, from March 16, on a four-times-weekly schedule.

“Qatar Airways is expanding rapidly, not only in terms of new places and our network offering, but also with the service we offer,” says Qatar Airways group chief executive Akbar Al Baker. “Complementing our service in the skies are our transfer facilities at the state-of-the-art Hamad International Airport, coupled with the experience of flying on board one of the youngest fleets in the industry.” www.qatarairways.com
