Priority Pass Expands Network

Priority Pass’ network of partner-operated airport lounges now totals over 900, having added 51 lounges, where business travellers can relax before their flight, to the program between January and April in 2016.

A major contributor to this growth is Priority Pass’ continued success in Asia Pacific, where 24 lounges have been added to its network since January 2016 and over 80 lounges since the previous year. This includes 60 new lounges based in China and new locations in Cambodia and Myanmar, highlighting the popularity of these regions and Priority Pass’ commitment to provide premium lounge access in the top travel destinations across Asia and beyond. Additional lounges include the growing economic hubs of Taiwan and Thailand, as well as New Zealand.

“Over the last year we have witnessed faster expansion in the number of lounges available to members than ever before,” says Stephen Simpson, global marketing director for Priority Pass, part of the Collinson Group. “Today’s major milestone, reaching 900+ lounges, is testament to the hard work of the team, who has remained focused on ensuring all Priority Pass members have access to the best and largest network of lounges across the globe.”

Priority Pass has also strengthened its foothold in other key markets, including Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA), where 22 lounges have been added to its network.

Since April 2015, over 30 new lounges have been added in Russia, and seven key locations have been added in the Middle East with further high profile additions in France and Ukraine.

In the United States, Priority Pass has added a further ten lounges to the program, in strategically significant locations such as New York JFK, San Francisco and Orlando. www.prioritypass.com
