Plaza Premium Network To Expand

Plaza Premium Lounge Management Limited (PPL), the international network of pay-in airport lounges, has confirmed that it has eight new lounges in development for 2015.

The announcement marks a major expansion project for the company, one that will see it unveil new lounges in Brisbane, London Heathrow Terminal 4, Phnom Penh, Salalah, Singapore, Shanghai Pudong, Siem Reap and Winnipeg.

All eight of the new lounges will showcase new designs, and include the brand’s signature seating and lighting. All massage services will also be revamped by premium organic airport spa brand Wellness Spa.

Guests will also enjoy new food and beverage options with the introduction of The Green Market, a initiative that will provide travellers with healthy food options and new live-cooking counters.

The company’s lounge at Shanghai Pudong International Airport will be a flagship venue developed in partnership with China Eastern Airlines. The new space marks the first time the airline will work with an international airport service provider to create an airport lounge.

“In the next three years, we will invest over US$40 million for new lounge development globally,” said PPL’s founder and chief executive Song Hoi-see. “Working with partners from all walks of life with varying business objectives has significantly enriched our experience and knowledge in this unique mix of hospitality and travel at the airport. We will continue our goal to leave the Airport Premium Services development internationally.”

While 2015 will see the addition of new lounges to PPL’s international network, the company will also upgrade several of its lounges, including its spaces at Abu Dhabi, Hyderabad, Johor and Macau. www.plaza-network.com
