New Venue for Corporate Retreats Outside Shanghai

Continuing the expansion of its luxury portfolio in China, JW Marriot Hotels & Resorts has opened the 228-room JW Marriott Hotel Zhejiang Anji.

Located within the world-class Phoenix International Golf Course and close to Anji’s legendary bamboo forests, the property’s design celebrates its stunning natural surrounds. A scenic resort set amidst a 1,8000-year history of culture and inspiring landscapes, the property is a short commute from Shanghai and is set to be a popular choice for corporate retreats.

The JW Marriott Hotel Shejian Anji boasts ample space to accommodate events of all kind with a 573sqm Grand Ballroom which seats up to 380 guests for a banquet style event; removable partition walls transform the space into smaller venues. Five smaller meeting rooms, each able to accommodate up to 80 guests, offer flexible seating plans and comprehensive business facilities.

The property’s 228 guest rooms feature neutral tones that celebrate the area’s natural surrounds, and design elements include carved wood screens, natural materials and soft lighting.

Guests are invited to explore the hotel’s two distinctive restaurants that pay homage to local, regional and global flavours. Fine-dining restaurant Man Ho focuses on fresh ingredients and artistic presentation in a celebration of the complex flavours of Chinese cuisine. Along with captivating chandeliers and original regional artwork, the restaurant features 17 private dining rooms that are ideal for team dinners.

The Lounge, which offers light bites, cocktails, and Anji’s famous white team, is the ideal setting for after hours relaxation and socialising with coworkers.

The new hotel also offers a fully-quipped Health Club with state-of-the-art equipment by Life Fitness,  and a heated indoor swimming pool. www.jwmarriottanji.com
