Mumbai to Get St Regis Hotel

India is set to get its first St Regis hotel with Starwood Hotels and Resorts gearing up to open the St Regis Mumbai later this year.

The hotel take over the space currently housing Mumbai’s Palladium Hotel in the city’s Lower Parel neighbourhood.

Scheduled to open on Sept 1, 2015, the hotel will undergo a complete rebrand and renovation which will see the 38-storey building fitted with 386 guest rooms, including 60 suites.

Business travellers to the city will also be able to take advantage of the hotel’s more than 5,200sqm of meeting and event space, which includes a 4,200sqm ballroom.

Off the clock, guests can socialise and relax with an all-day restaurant, four speciality restaurants, a club lounge, three bars, a pool and a gym.
