Mercure Wuhan Changqing Park Opens in China

Accor has expanded its portfolio of Mercure hotels in China with the opening of the Mercure Wuhan Changqing Park in Jianghan District, offering business travellers a modern retreat in the capital of Hubei province.

Only a 15-minute drive from Wuhan Tianhe International Airport, and 10-minute from Hankou Railway Station, the hotel’s 251 guestrooms and suites are decked out in contemporary design and subtle touches of elegance, and feature complimentary wifi, mini bars, and floor-to-ceiling windows offering panoramic views of the city.

“We are excited to introduce the Mercure brand in Wuhan, the most populous city in central China, renowned for its picturesque and expansive lakes and parks, including the East Lake,” says COO of AccorHotels Greater China Paul Richardson. “The opening of Mercure Wuhan Changqing Park strengthens AccorHotels’ commitment in the country to growing the Mercure brand, which combines international service standards with a local charm.”

The contemporary hotel features an all-day-dining restaurant which serves authentic Sichuan and Hunan cuisines and a lobby lounge offering a wide range of beverages and snacks. For corporate events and dinner gatherings, the hotel boasts three function rooms with the latest conference and multimedia technology. www.mercure.com
