Malindo Introduces Flights to Australia

Malaysia-based airline Malindo Air is set to launch flights between Kuala Lumpur and Perth, Australia, on November 19, 2015.

“We are delighted to welcome the first Malindo Air service to Australia. Last year, more than 300,000 passengers travelled between Perth and Malaysia, and it remains our fifth largest international market,” says CEO of Perth Airport Brad Geatches. “Malaysia is a popular holiday destination and, combined with a large number of passengers also visiting friends and relatives, will continue as one of Perth’s core markets for many years to come. As the third carrier on the Perth to Kuala Lumpur route, Western Australians now have more options than ever when travelling to Asia and onward to other destinations.”

Operating the route with the 180-seat Boeing 737-900 aircraft, Malindo Air will initially provide a daily service between the two destinations, and increase the service to 11 times per week from December 3, 2015. www.malindoair.com
