Lufthansa Changes Flight Schedule

Lufthansa will change its Bangkok to Frankfurt flight schedule to night departures, which will be serviced by the recently upgraded Boeing 747-400 aircraft, effective on October 25, 2015. Under the new schedule, the flight will depart from Bangkok at 23:50 and will arrive in Frankfurt the following day at 05:45.

“Thailand is one of our key markets in Southeast Asia and we are always looking for opportunities to improve and provide more options for our passengers as an airline group,” says general manager of passenger sales for Thailand and the Mekong region Dirk Grossman. “For example, in the new timetable, Lufthansa and Austrian Airlines operate night departures and Swiss International Air Lines offers day flights out of Bangkok. Overall, Lufthansa Group offers a variety of both day and night flights every 12 hours to their European gateways. And this combination fits perfectly for every customer needs.”

The move from an Airbus A340-300 to a Boeing 747-400 not only enables Lufthansa to carry 30 percent more passengers, but also offers business travellers an elevated experience thanks to its new Business and Premium Economy class. Each of the new Business class seats can be folded flat to create a bed of 1.98 meters long, while the Premium Economy cabin allows passengers to check-in two bags (23kg each) and offers special greetings on board, including a welcome drink, an amenity kit, and a water bottle. www.lufthansa.com
