LAX Made Easy

With Air New Zealand set to add three weekly services to its Auckland – Los Angeles route in summer 2015, passengers flying the airline and passing through LA will greatly benefit from the airline’s recent move to Tom Bradley International Terminal at Los Angeles International Airport. The move will provide the airline’s customers with better connectivity to ports within the US and all the benefits of a newer terminal including faster processing, enhanced transit experience, a state-of-the-art lounge and more than 150,000 square feet of retail and dining space in the Great Hall.

Moving to the recently refurbished terminal also means that the airline’s passengers at LAX will have access to the Air New Zealand-managed Star Alliance Los Angeles lounge which opened just last year. The 18,000sqft lounge opened in 2013 and features an open air terrace with panoramic views of the northern runway towards the Hollywood Hills and dedicated experience zones to cater to differing customer needs such as rest or business.

While the lounge will be made available to the airline’s premium passengers, the move to the international terminal also means that passengers transiting through LA will be able to access the wider terminal, rather than being confined to the dedicated transit facility. www.airnz.co.nz
