Korean Air Partners with Jet Airways

Korean Air has signed a codeshare agreement with India’s premier international airline Jet Airways, offering business travellers greater convenience when they travel between the two countries via gateway airports in Singapore and Bangkok.

Effective March 1, 2016, the new agreement will give Korean air a daily connection to Delhi and more Mumbai connections alongside its own thrice-weekly Seoul-Mumbai service, which operates with an A330 aircraft and departs every Monday, Wednesday and Friday from Incheon.

As part of the code-share agreement between the two airlines, Korean Air will place its “KE” code on Jet Airways’ flights from Mumbai and Delhi to Bangkok and between Mumbai and Singapore. The codeshare routes are expected to be expanded even more by the end of this year.

Along with the code share agreement a new frequent flyer partnership program will also take effect. This reciprocal partnership will enable members of both airlines’ frequent flyer program, SKYPASS and JetPrivilege, to earn and burn mileage on the entire network of the two airlines. www.koreanair.com
