Korean Air Gets New First Class Product

First class passengers travelling on Korean Air will soon enjoy greater privacy with the launch of the carrier’s new first class Kosmo Suites.

The new suites feature higher partitions and sliding doors, offering passengers the chance to retreat into their own space while flying.

Passengers will get their first experience of the new suites when travelling on the airline’s Boeing 777-300ER aircraft, which will feature eight Kosmo Suites. The new product will then be rolled out across the airline’s newly purchased Boeing 787-9 Dreamliners, Boeing 747-8s, and Airbus A300-300 aircraft.

At 26.5 inches wide, the Kosmo Suite seats are 5.9 inches wider than regular first class seats, and expands into a 180-degree fully-flat bed of 79 inches. They also feature 23-inch high-resolution LCD monitors and handheld touchpad controllers, comfortable worktables, ergonomic individual reading lamps, and Bose noise-cancelling headphones. www.koreanair.com
