Jet Airways to Fly Boeing 777 from Mumbai to Amsterdam

Jet Airways, India’s international airline, will increase capacity on its Mumbai-Amsterdam route by deploying a Boeing 777-300ER aircraft from October 30, 2016, offering business travellers an enhanced travel experience.

Jet Airways is the only airline flying daily non-stop flights between Mumbai and Amsterdam. The Jet Airways’ Boeing 777 features a three-class configuration, with eight First Class suites, 30 flat-bed seats in Premiere (Business) class, and 308 ergonomically designed seats in Economy.

Each First Class suite features an 81-inch bed, a 23-inch flat screen monitor and carefully designed storage areas that include a personal hanging wardrobe, dual credenza and under ottoman stowage. The suite is designed to allow dining for two with a Business Jet style table, multiple LED lighting options, variable lumbar support and an eight point massage system. Guests in the Premiere cabins can travel in the comfort of a virtual living room, with space to work, rest or entertain. The seat can be transformed to a 180 degree flat bed with lumbar support and a massage system.

“Our daily non-stop service connecting India’s commercial capital Mumbai and the key European hub Amsterdam has received excellent response since its launch,” says Gaurang Shetty, whole-time director, Jet Airways. “By deploying the 777-300ER aircraft, Jet Airways will be able to cater to the growing demand on this important sector at a time when trade and investment between India and Europe and North America is witnessing a healthy growth. The state-of-the-art wide body aircraft enables us to deliver a superior in-flight experience to our guests, along with the introduction of our signature First Class suites on this route.”

The Jet Airways Boeing 777 includes a selection of fine food and beverages on board. It will offer Champagne and wines from around the world, including Bollinger La Grande Année, served in Rona stemless glassware. The menu choices are extensive and plated on hand-crafted William Edwards porcelain dinnerware.

With the airline’s state-of-the-art inflight Panasonic eX2 entertainment system, guests have the choice of over 1,500 hours of Hollywood and Bollywood movies, regional films, television, and short programming, audio CDs covering a wide spectrum of music genres. www.jetairways.com
