Hong Kong Airlines to Launch Flights to Auckland

Hong Kong Airlines will launch a daily direct service to Auckland, New Zealand, on November 10, 2016, allowing business travellers the chance to fly to the economic capital of the nation.

“With the success of our service to Australia earlier this year, Hong Kong Airlines is more than delighted to announce this second long-haul service, operating daily to Auckland, New Zealand,” says Li Dianchun, chief commercial officer of Hong Kong Airlines. “ Leveraging on our connectivity in Asia via the international hub Hong Kong, we believe this Hong Kong Airlines new service to Auckland will be welcomed by passengers from Beijing, Shanghai, Tianjin, Chengdu, Nanjing, Hangzhou, Okinawa, Tokyo, Bangkok and Taipei, offering them more travel options.”

An Airbus A332 aircraft with 283 seats, including 24 business class seats, will be deployed on the route. The outbound flight, HX021, will depart Hong Kong at 15:20 and arrive Auckland at 7:30 the following day, while the return leg, HX022, will leave Auckland at 09:30 and land in Hong Kong at 15:55. www.hongkongairlines.com
