Hong Kong Airlines Launches Flights to Australia

Hong Kong Airlines offer business travellers thrice-weekly flights to Australia with the launch of the triangular service, which departs from Hong Kong to the Gold Coast, before heading back via Cairns.

Operating an Airbus A330-300s, which is configured with 32 business class and 260 economy class seats, the new service departs Hong Kong for the Gold Coast on Tuesday, Friday and Saturday and returns to Hong Kong via Cairns the following Wednesday, Saturday, and Sunday.

The outbound service, HX015, leaves Hong Kong at 21:20 to arrive in the Gold Coast the following day at 08:30; while the HX016 continues its journey, departing from the Gold Coast at 10:30 to arrive in Cairns at 12:45. The return leg, HX016, leaves Cairns at 13:55 and land in Hong Kong at 19:10.

“We are delighted with the successful launch of this much-anticipated new Australian route,” says commercial director of Hong Kong Airlines Li Dianchun. “So far, we have received an overwhelming response among travellers since tickets became available for purchase.”

Hong Kong Airlines’ destination network currently covers 30 major cities across the Asia-Pacific region. With the launch of the Australian route, Hong Kong Airlines will further strengthen its international network and provide business travellers with more diverse travel options. www.hongkongairlines.com
