Hong Kong Airlines Adds Flights to Queensland

Hong Kong Airlines will extend its flight service to Queensland from seasonal flight to year-round flight on March 27, 2016, offering more convenience for business travellers bound for Australia.

Operating an Airbus A330, configured with 32 business class seats and 260 economy class seats, the new triangular flight will fly direct from Hong Kong to the Gold Coast on every Tuesday and Saturday, before heading back via Cairns the following day.

“Hong Kong Airlines will complete its seasonal service in March and step up immediately to a twice-weekly, year-round service from late March on the same direct route to the Gold Coast, returning via Cairns,” says minister for tourism and major events Kate Jones. “We continue to work with international airlines, Tourism Australia, major airports and regional tourism organisations to increase the number of incoming flights from major global ports to Queensland.” www.hongkongairlines.com
