Hilton Darwin Emerges from Makeover

The Hilton Darwin has emerged from 18 months of renovations with 236 revamped guest rooms, a new lobby, refreshed entertainment areas, and a new fitness centre. The renovations are believed to have cost more than AU$10 million.

The hotel’s interiors not boast a light, brighter and more contemporary feel with light tiling, pure wool carpets, solid timber and leather furnishings, all complemented by local art and muted wallpaper.

The only five-star hotel in Darwin’s CBD, the property also houses the city’s only Executive Lounge, which offers Executive floor guests and Hilton HHonors Diamond members a comfortable space to work and relax during the day, or enjoy cocktails and canapes in the evenings, as well as power breakfasts in the mornings.

Corporate visitors can take advantage of five meeting rooms on the hotel’s dedicated events floor for any business events their stay might require.

After hours, visitors can also enjoy the newly reopened swimming pool, and the hotel’s seafood restaurant, Mitchell’s Bar & Grill.

The Hilton Darwin overlooks the Esplanade, and is within easy distance of all major corporate and government offices, and the Darwin Convention Centre, and is just a 15-minute drive from Darwin Airport. www.hilton.com
