Garuda Expands China Network

Garuda Indonesia has launched direct flights between Denpasar in Bali, and Guangzhou, China, operating a Boeing 737-800 NG, with 12 seats in business class and 150 seats in economy class.

The airline operates the Denpasar – Guangzhou route three times per week, every Tuesday, Friday, and Sunday. The outbound service, GA 896, departs Denpasar at 23:45 and arrives in Guangzhou at 05:00. The return leg, GA 897, leaves Guangzhou at 06:15 and lands in Denpasar at 12:00.

“The Denpasar – Guangzhou service is part of the airlines network expansion strategy, especially to China,” says Garuda Indonesia’s director of services Nicodemus P. Lampe. “China is a very important market for Garuda Indonesia and the airline will continue to develop services to this country.”

Garuda now flies to mainland China 24 times a week, with flights between Jakarta and Shanghai (seven times), Jakarta and Beijing (four times), Denpasar and Beijing (three times), Jakarta and Guangzhou (seven times), and now the new service between Denpasar and Guangzhou (three times).  www.garuda-indonesia.com
