Four Points by Sheraton Comes to Russia

Starwood has opened its first Four Points by Sheraton Hotel in Russia, bringing the popular business hotel brand to one of Russia’s business hubs.

The Four Points by Sheraton Kaluga, located in one of Russia’s main industrial hubs, features 174 guest rooms, and a well-rounded meetings and events offering.

Guests can enjoy all the brand’s amenities, including complimentary WiFi, complimentary bottled water, and a wide selection of craft and imported beers as part of the brand’s signature Best Brews program.

Local renowned chef Vladimir Rumiantsev and his team will welcome guests to La Grillade Restaurant with Mediterranean dishes sporting Asian twists. The restaurant also features a show kitchen dishing up charcoal-grilled treats.

The Hubble Bar is the ideal spot for after-hours socialising, especially in winter when guests can enjoy a drink next to the fireplace. Guests can also relax with indulgent treatments at the 240sqm Agua Spa, which features a hammam, sauna, jacuzzi and a spacious fitness centre.

“With nearly 200 hotels worldwide, we’re seeing incredible growth momentum of the Four Points brand globally, and look forward to building [our] footprint in Russia with the brand’s entry to Kaluga,” said Starwood’s President of Europe, Africa and Middle East, Michael Wale. “The hotel is a perfect match for the city, and we are confident that business travellers will embrace the Four Points brand’s approachable design, excellent service and honest value.”

Kaluga is located on the River Oka, some 180 kilometres southwest of Moscow. www.starwoodhotels.com
