Emirates has just made travel a little smoother for Android users, with the launch of a free app for Android devices.

Users can enjoy a seamless travel experience with the new app, which allows users to book flights, review travel itineraries, manage bookings, download boarding passes – or send it to a phone via text or email.

More importantly, users will be able to get important real time information with the app, including verifying flight status, departure and arrival alerts and boarding and gate change details.

Finally, the app also offers users the ability to manage their Skywards loyalty account, and receive notifications of the airline’s chauffeured service, offered to premium travellers.
