Emirates Offers Pre-Flight Hotel Stays

Emirates is gearing up to offer Sydney-based travellers flying in their first and business class cabins an enhanced experience with the announcement that passengers flying on the 6am EK415 flight from Sydney to Dubai will be offered a free overnight stay at the Rydges Sydney Airport hotel.

Located directly opposite Sydney Airport’s international terminal, this new initiative by Emirates will undoubtedly endear the airline to its premium passengers, who will be able to stroll over from the hotel to catch their morning flight.

Passengers will be able to use the airlines existing complimentary chauffeur service – which is already part of the premium traveller experience – to arrive at Rydges at any time on the day before their flight.

The next morning, travellers can cruise through the airport experience by checking in for their flight at their leisure and utilising the express lanes to get through security and passport control, before enjoying breakfast in the Emirates lounge.

“This particular offer has been popular with Canberra and regional NSW residents,” said an Emirates spokesperson.  “EK415 offers passengers same-day services to key European destinations such as Dublin, Rome, Milan and London, allowing travellers to enjoy breakfast in Sydney, lunch in Dubai and dinner in Europe.”

During their overnight stay at the Rydges Sydney Airport hotel, guests who are members of the complimentary GHA Discovery loyalty program will receive free in-room WiFi, bottled water and a complimentary newspaper. Members of Rydges’ loyalty program will also enjoy 20 percent off on food and beverage at the hotel, exclusive room service, minibar and breakfast. www.emirates.com
