China Southern to Fly A380 to Europe

Business travellers who, like us, have fallen head over heels for the super jumbo have another way to link Europe and Asia on their favourite bird with the China Southern Airlines’ new daily A380 service between Beijing and Amsterdam. The new service starts June 20, with the A380 replacing the A330-300 aircraft already deployed on the route.

Flight CZ345 is scheduled to take off from Beijing at 12:50 a.m. and arrive in Amsterdam at 5:40 a.m., with the return flight, CZ346, departing Amsterdam at 2:50 p.m. and arriving in the Chinese capital at 6:20 a.m. the next day.

China Southern is the only Chinese airline operating the A380, and has five in its fleet. They currently operate the superjumbo on flights between Beijing and Guangzhou, Guangzhou and Los Angeles, and Guangzhou to Sydney on a seasonal basis. www.csair.com
