Ascott will open Citadines Sunhope e-Metro Shenzhen opening this year, offering business travellers a home-away-from-home in the modern metropolis.
The new Ascott opening in Shenzhen, Southern China’s dynamic commercial capital, will add more than 1,200 apartment units to the company’s portfolio of hotels across greater China.
With 479 units, the hotel will be Ascott’s largest property in China and will be part of an integrated project with office and retail components. Located within a five-minute walk from the metro station and a 10-minute drive from the Central Business District, Citadines Sunhope e-Metro Shenzhen will comprise studio, one-bedroom, and two-bedroom apartments, as well as facilities including a fitness centre, a swimming pool, and a breakfast lounge.
Ascott’s five other new properties will be in Changsha, Tianjin, Wuhan, Handan, and Xuzhou. The company opened 14 properties in China last year, adding over 2,000 units to its portfolio, and will open more than 30 properties worldwide this year, of which 16 will be in China.
