ANA Gearing up to Relaunch Tokyo-Sydney Service

Japanese carrier ANA is scheduled to begin operating flights between Tokyo and Sydney from October 25.

The outbound flight will leave just before midnight and touch down in Sydney at 0935 the next day; the return leg will depart Sydney at 2130pm, and arrive in Tokyo early the next morning, giving business travellers a full day in Tokyo.

The daily service will be operated by ANA’s international Dreamliner. The aircraft boasts 48 fully-flat business class seats in a 1-2-1 configuration which offers privacy and direct aisle access; 21 premium economy seats arranged in a 2-3-2 layout; and 146 economy seats in a 3-3-3 design.

ANA stopped operating its Tokyo-Sydney route in July 1999.

The Tokyo-Sydney route is currently operated by Qantas and Japanese airlines, which fly in and out of Tokyo’s Narita airport. www.ana.co.jp
