AirAsia Ups Bangkok-Seoul Services

Thai AirAsia X is set to increase flights between Bangkok’s Don Mueang airport and Seoul Incheon from one flight per day to double daily from October 25, 2015.

“Seoul and Bangkok continue to be a very popular destination for both Thai and Korean travellers,” said the airline’s CEO, Nadda Buranasiri. “Since our inaugural flight to Seoul in June 2014, we have reached an average load factor of 83 percent. There is great potential for this route to continually grow and in order to meet this demand, we are now launching a second daily flight so passengers will have more options and flexibility to choose their travel time.”

Passengers are able to purchase attraction and transportation offers onboard the flights with the airline’s Sky Ticket service. On offer are one-day passes to Lotte World Adventure Theme park and limousine bus service from Incheon airport to Cheongnyangni Station or Myeong-Dong Station.

For travellers from Seoul going on to other cities in Thailand – such as Chiang Mai, Krabi or Phuket, AirAsia offers the seamless “Fly-Thru” transit experience. Passengers can use this service to check their bags through the entire route and pick them up at their final destination.  www.airasia.com
