Air India Increases Services between Delhi and London

Air India will start a third daily service between Delhi and London Heathrow from November 1, operating a B777-200LR aircraft.

The new outbound service AI161 will depart Delhi at 02:15 and arrive in London Heathrow at 06:30, while the return leg, AI162, will leave London at 08:45 and land in Delhi at 22:35.

This new service will join the existing double daily flights AI115/116 and AI111/112, operated with a B787-8 Dreamliner and a B777-300ER respectively. The business class in the B787-8 features 18 flat bed seats fitted with a 74-inch pitch and 22-inch width; while the latter one features a three-class configuration, with a spacious seat pitch of 76 inches in business class.

The airline will also launch a non-stop flight to connect Delhi and San Francisco on December 2. This will be the fourth non-stop flight to the US after New York, Chicago, and Newark. www.airindia.in
