From October 27, 2015, Air China will begin thrice-weekly services between Beijing and Colombo.
The new route complements the carrier’s existing four-times-weekly service between Chengdu and Colombo, which launched in February. The new route, which will be operated on an A330-300 service, will be the second service to Columbo for the airline.
CA873 will depart Beijing at 1330 and arrive in Columbo at 1910 on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday. The return leg, CA874, will leave Columbo at 2110, arriving in Beijing at 0700 the next morning.
