AccorHotels Opens Pullman Kaifeng Jianye

AccorHotels has expanded its portfolio of hotels in China with the opening of Pullman Kaifeng Jianye in the heart of the historical city of Kaifeng in east-central Henan Province.

A 50-minute drive from Zhengzhou Xinzheng International Airport and a 10-minute drive from the city centre, the 186-room hotel is located within the Ancient City Wall, blending contemporary design with traditional architecture that reflects the heritage and rich culture of the city.

“We are proud to be the first international hotel group to deliver a world-class standard of up-scale hospitality service to travellers in Kaifeng, one of the Eighth Ancient Capitals of China with a history dating back to more than 2,700 years,” says CEO of Accor Greater China Paul Richardson. “The opening of Pullman Kaifeng Jianye sets an industry benchmark in this historic city with the brand’s signature cosmopolitan, vibrant, and in-style services, designed for today’s hyper-connected travellers.”

The hotel offers a wide range of culinary options, including the all-day-dining Pullman Cafe, which offers an array of modern Asian and international cuisines, with an outdoor seating area for alfresco dining; The Lu Hua Chinese restaurant, which serves Cantonese cuisine, local Henan signature dishes, and Taiwanese gourmet food; and the Lobby Lounge overlooking the garden courtyard. Business travellers can also relax at the trendy Xi Bar, which serves a range of wines, champagne, whisky, and cocktails. www.pullmanhotels.com
