AccorHotels Opens its 100th Hotel in Indonesia

AccorHotels has opened Novotel Makassar Grand Shayla City Centre –  its 100th hotel in Indoneisa – in the heart of Makassar. Only a 30-minute drive from Sultan Hasanuddin Airport, the hotel features 330 spacious guest rooms, including nine executive suites and a presidential suite.

“We are proud to open Novotel Makassar Grand Shayla City Centre as the 100th hotel in Indonesia. This is a milestone achievement for AccorHotels as the market leader in Indonesia and it also marks our strategy to accelerate our expansion in East Indonesia,” says COO for AccorHotels Malaysia, Indonesia, and Singapore Garth Simmons. “Currently AccorHotels operates three key hotels in South Sulawesi, including ibis budget Makassar Airport, ibis Makassar City Centre, and now, the first Novotel in this region.”

Guests can savour a variety of local and international cuisines at The Square Restaurant, or simply unwind at the Lounge Bar, with a refreshing cocktail or a glass of wine. Catering to meetings, conferences, or corporate events, the hotel boasts a ballroom that can accommodate up to 400 guests and eight meeting rooms that feature a state-of-the-art latest audio visual system. For relaxation, they can also enjoy a workout at the Balance Wellness Centre, which includes a gym, a spa, and a swimming pool. www.accorhotels.com
