AccorHotels Open Three Hotels in Nanchang

AccorHotels has opened three new hotels under the Pullman, Novotel and Mercure brands with Wanda Group in Nanchang, the capital of Jiangxi Province in southeastern China. Located in Honggutan District, the hotel cluster offers business travellers 1,388 guest rooms, four restaurants, three bars and 1,310sqm of banquet and meeting space.

“The opening of three hotels in a single day symbolizes AccorHotels’ continuous growth and development in the Greater China region,” says Michel Molliet, chief operating officer of AccorHotels Greater China. “This is our first and biggest hotel project in Central China. The development of these three new hotels brings our Greater China network to 181 operating hotels and resorts across the country. The hotel cluster is strategically located at the heart of Nanchang’s landmark development, a major cultural tourist destination in its own right.”

Pullman Nanchang Wanda has 403 guest rooms including 16 suites. All rooms feature garden and lake views with distinctive signature touches under the Pullman brand. The hotel also has an 800sqm pillar-less ballroom which offers direct access to a lush garden courtyard, ideal for social events and evening cocktails. Dining options include all-day dining restaurant Food Exchange and Chinese restaurant Pin Xuan Ge, which features Cantonese cuisine, local Jiangxi dishes, as well as Hunan and Sichuan delicacies.

The 481-room Novotel Nanchang Wanda offers all the brand’s customary multi-service facilities geared to the needs of business travellers. Food and beverage outlets include The Square, an all-day dining restaurant, and a Lobby Lounge. The hotel also has a gymnasium for daily work-outs.

Mercure Nanchang Wanda features 504 modern-style guest rooms. Like all Mercure hotels, this mid-scale property combines the strength of an international network with a strong quality commitment and a distinctive local heritage. Guests can enjoy a variety of authentic Western and Asian cuisines at the Terrace Café or an evening drink at the Lobby Bar. www.accorhotels-group.com
