A Second Sofitel Opens in Singapore

Sofitel has opened its second property in Singapore, the Sofitel Singapore Sentosa Resort & Spa – formerly The Singapore Resort & Spa Sentosa – offering business travellers a bold and elegant alternative for corporate meetings ad events.

With 211 rooms and suites plus four villas, the hotel features the world’s largest So SPA; four food and beverage options, including Kwee Zeen, an all-day dining restaurant that serves a wide selection of Asian, Western, and French cuisines; over 1,300sqm of MICE facilities; and a 33-metre swimming pool, offering guests a sense of relaxed sophistication and urban resort living.

The newly revamped Conference Centre is designed to merge with the natural elements surrounding the venue. Boasting two ballrooms, 15 meeting rooms and outdoor verandahs, the pillarless meeting rooms allow natural light to illuminate the space, and open out to an expansive lawn, making it an ideal venue for corporate brainstorming sessions, team building, leadership trainings, or cocktail receptions.

For relaxation, So SPA, fitted with 20 treatment rooms, offers rejuvenation, refreshment and renewal through its wide range of treatments. Available only in Singapore, one of the key features of the spa is the Mud Pool, where guests can purify and renew their skin with New Zealand volcanic mud, which is rich in minerals.

Burn off a long day of meetings at the state-of-the-art fitness; the special ‘Mini GlamFit Experience’ features a 60-minute personal training session followed by a 30-minute massage to release tension, and is available from now till December 31, 2015. www.sofitel-singapore-sentosa.com
