A Rydges Hotel to Open in Brisbane

Rydges Hotels and Resorts is set to open its newest hotel, Rydges Fortitude Valley, in Brisbane, Australia, in February 2016, offering business travellers a luxurious accommodation with rural charm in the heart of the city.

Located within the Brisbane Showgrounds precinct and a short stroll from the city’s CBD, the 208-room hotel will offer all the modern amenities expected by the discerning corporate guests. All rooms will offer complimentary wifi, phones with international direct dialing, mini bars, and individually controlled air conditioning.

Guests can enjoy an exciting farm-to-the-table experience at the signature Six Acres Restaurant, or savour craft beers, premium wines and signature cocktails at The Paddock Bar, a perfect venue for casual business catch-ups. The hotel also boasts three flexible meeting rooms, a fully equipped gymnasium, and a heated outdoor pool.

“We envisage the hotel becoming regional Queensland’s home in the city, bringing a new dimension in world-class service with a personal touch to an area known for its cultural heritage and agricultural theme,” says Rydges Fortitude Valley general manager Matthew Hurley.“The hotel’s positioning within the Showgrounds precinct and opposite the Royal International Convention Centre lends unique appeal to guests wishing to stay and soak up the atmosphere at the many events and festivals held in the district throughout the year.” www.rydgesfortitudevalley.com
