A Luxury Collection Hotel Opens in Tokyo

The Luxury Collection Hotels & Resorts, part of Starwood, will open The Prince Gallery Tokyo Kioicho in Tokyo, Japan, in July 2016. The brand’s first hotel in the city will offer business travellers a luxurious accommodation in the heart of the Kioicho neighborhood.

The Prince Gallery Tokyo Kioicho is part of Tokyo Garden Terrace, a mixed-use development which will encompass retail, offices and residences. The hotel will be located on the 30th to 36th floors of the tower and will include a lobby on the top floor with panoramic city views. Designed by Rockwell Group Europe, the new hotel will offer 250 spacious guest rooms, including 11 suites. The 35th floor will feature a signature bar with two-story floor-to-ceiling glass windows.

“The Prince Gallery Tokyo Kioicho is the perfect showcase of the rapid growth of The Luxury Collection brand, which has recently surpassed 100 hotels in more than 30 countries,” says Hoyt H. Harper II, global brand leader, The Luxury Collection. “From a historic Unesco site in Kyoto to a prestigious location in the heart of Tokyo, The Luxury Collection offers guests unique access to indigenous and authentic destination experiences.”

The luxurious hotel will also boast more than 272sqm of state-of-the-art function and meeting space, a large indoor pool, a fitness center, a spa, a business center and a club lounge. It will house four distinctive restaurants and bars, including an all-day dining venue and specialty restaurants. www.tgt-kioicho.jp
