Tucked away in Wan Chai’s bustling commercial area, Hong Kong’s French eatery Le Bistro Winebeast Restaurant has rolled out a new seasonal menu featuring chef Johan Ducroquet’s hearty dishes, which capture the essence of Autumnal dining and French cuisine for the months of September and October.
Known for his sophisticated twists, chef Ducroquet makes the most of the freshest ingredients available this season to create wholesome dishes. Highlights on the new Le Bistro Winebelt Restaurant menu include the classic beef tartare with smoked chilli; beetroot salad with a refreshing mix of fruits; as well as marinated red tuna in sesame seed and oil. Loyal to his traditional roots, chef Ducroquet creates selected signature dishes, including the Rossini beef fillet and pithiviers of quail and foie gras.
Start with confit tomato and crab salad served with mango and ginger condiments; and boudin blanc assorted with French pork, chicken sausage, mini apple tart, green apple, and grilled hazelnut. Continue with gambas linguine and the confit French lamb, and finish with the comfort of dark chocolate fondant with red fruits ice cream on the side, or the Winebeast classic tiramisu.
