The Landmark Mandarin Oriental Introduces A New Jet Lag Cure

The Landmark Mandarin Oriental, Hong Kong has introduced a new Jet Lag Cure spa treatment at The Oriental Spa, offering frequent travellers a solution to rejuvenate after long flights.

The Jet Lag Cure, an intensive rebalancing body treatment, is designed to help combat the symptoms of jet lag, including stiff muscles, dehydrated skin and insomnia. To be experienced as a 90-minute Reviving Morning or a Deep Relax body treatment, the Jet Lag Cure starts with a refreshing full-body brushing for glowing skin and better blood circulation; followed by applying a highly concentrated essential oil-infused body gel, and an essential oil massage for maximum hydration.

The techniques include stretching and kneading, sweeping, and soothing strokes, which help fight fatigue, boost circulation, melt away fatty deposits, and eliminate excess fluids and toxins. Combined with a traditional aromatherapy pressure point massage focusing on the spine, the treatment also helps to release major physical and emotional tension.

The treatment uses detoxing and stimulating essential oils, which are applied directly to the body and via inhalation, as well as deep relax aromatherapy oils, such as sandalwood, camomile, and vetivert. Guests at the Landmark Mandarin Oriental’s Oriental Spa are invited to use the steam, sauna and the relaxation lounge after the treatment.
