Swiss-Belhotel Opens Second Property in Manila

Swiss-Belhotel International has expanded its portfolio in the Philippines with the launch of Swiss-Belhotel Blulane, a new hotel in Manila’s historic Chinatown district.

Set in an impressive 19-storey building, the former Blulane Hotel will rebrand as the Swiss-Belhotel Blulane on February 1, 2019. This landmark four-star hotel is located in the heart of Manila’s vibrant Binondo district, which is reputed to be the world’s oldest Chinatown. Surrounded by bustling tourist attractions and historical landmarks, Swiss-Belhotel Blulane will cater to the needs of all travellers, including local and international guests, plus a wide range of events.

The hotel features 171 well-appointed, Asian-inspired rooms and suites. Options range from the ample 25sqm Superior Rooms to the expansive 72sqm VIP Suite, all featuring sumptuous 300 thread count bedding and international amenities including a 42-inch LCD TV with cable channels, minibar, electric kettle, hairdryer and a bathroom with bathtub and shower.

Swiss-Belhotel Blulane offers an array of dining options, including Blu Café & Lounge, the inviting all-day dining restaurant, and Blu Dynasty, which serves authentic Cantonese cuisine. The Coffee Club is a bright lobby lounge and the Bar Lounge provides a stylish spot to unwind in the evenings.

With 19 separate function spaces and a dedicated events team, Swiss-Belhotel Blulane is perfectly equipped to host a wide variety of business meetings and social occasions. The Grand Ballroom is ideal for large-scale gatherings, while the top floor penthouse leaves a lasting impression.

The hotel becomes the second Swiss-Belhotel branded property in Metro Manila following Valero Grand Suites by Swiss-Belhotel, which is located in Makati City.
