Sony Unveils New Travel-Friendly Speakers

A series of new wireless speakers for Sony are perfect for on-the-go business travellers. Compact designs make them easy to throw into a suitcase or laptop bag, while powerful sound quality allows busy travellers to enliven staid hotel rooms and unwind after-hours with their favourite beats.

The new SRS-X55 is a sleek, small speaker that achieves new levels of sound quality with LDAC. Its 2.1 channel system and dual passive radiators deliver a beat dropping output power of 30W, and an internal rechargable battery lasts for up to 10 hours. Available in black or white.

Boasting 185 x 60 x 59mm dimensions, the SRS-X33 is 20 percent smaller than its predecessor, but maintains its outstanding sound quality. With a total output of 20W, 2 channel speaker system and dual passive radiators which allow for deeper bass, and new LDAC technology, the SRS-X33 delivers enhanced sound performance. The rechargeable battery lasts for up to 12 hours; the speaker is available in black and blue.

Perfect for tucking into carry-on luggage for quick turnaround trips, the tiny 61 x 61 x 61mm cube-like SRS-X11 is the smallest speaker in the new range. Proving the adage that good things come in small packages, the SRS-X11 combines the power of 10W with two passive radiators, so you can enjoy a rich, deep bass. A Speaker Add function allows you to connect two SRS-X11 units together to create a stereo sound experience. The built-in battery lasts 12 hours, and can be recharged easily through microUSB. The SRS-X11 is available in five colours – black, white, pink, blue and red, and comes with a silicone strap for additional portability. www.sony.com
