Sofitel Guiyang Hunter Opens in Guiyang

Sofitel has opened Sofitel Guiyang Hunter in the Central Business District of Guiyang, the capital of China’s Guizhou Province.

At 298 metres and surrounded by residential buildings, offices, and entertainment hub, the city’s tallest hotel is within walking distance to renowned scenic spots including Nanming River, Jiaxiu Pavilion, and the historic Wenchang Pavilion.

Designed by Hirsch Bedner Associates, the new Sofitel hotel is an elegant blend of contemporary French aesthetics with local elements, featuring 274 elegant guestrooms and suites, all of which boast the signature bedding concept by Sofitel MyBed, Lanvin bathroom amenities and wifi.

The hotel’s signature all-day dining outlet Kwee Zeen located on the 57th floor serves a wide range of international and local cuisine, while Le Chinois Chinese Restaurant serves authentic Sichuan cuisine with signature dishes from Guizhou and Guangdong. The restaurant’s six contemporary private dining rooms are ideal for business functions or small group gatherings. Located on the 55th floor with breathtaking views of the city skyline, Le Bar Lobby Lounge offers a wide range of wine list, specialty cocktails, and light snacks.

For Sofitel Magnifique meetings and events, the hotel offers two state-of-the-art ballrooms and 11 meeting rooms featuring floor-to-ceiling windows, which allow for abundant natural daylight, and can accommodate up to 1,000 guests.
