Sheraton Opens on Samui

Incentive and meetings planners looking for an intimate destination for their next event will enjoy the new Sheraton Samui Resort, which has opened on the Thai island with 141-guest rooms overlooking beautiful Chaweng Noi Beach

The Sheraton Samui Resort boasts 141 well-appointed guest rooms and suites with a stylish blend of modern decor and light pastel colors. Each room features the signature Sheraton Sweet Sleeper Bed, a bathroom with separate shower and bathtub, high speed Internet access, 42-inch LCD TV and a private balcony with garden or ocean views.

Ideal for smaller corporate meetings and celebrations, The Sheraton Samui Resort offers a relaxed and inspiring social venue for corporate events and functions. The resort features fully-equipped function and pre-function spaces totaling 156sqm, including outdoor venues with panoramic ocean views.

After hours, guests can take a dip in one of two salt-water swimming pools, pamper themselves at the Glow Spa, with its seven treatment rooms and signature massage menu, or grab a bite to eat at one of the resorts restaurants, which include Long Talay, an all-day beachfront dining restaurant with an open kitchen concept; and Blue Monkey, an open air beach club style bar that offers another social venue for guests on a stunning beach front location.

Sheraton Samui Resort is the newest addition to the area, joining three existing Starwood hotels in Koh Samui while also building upon the current Sheraton portfolio of five dynamic Thai-based properties—Royal Orchid Sheraton Hotel & Towers, Sheraton Hua Hin Resort & Spa, Sheraton Hua Hin Pranburi Villas, Sheraton Krabi Beach Resort, and Sheraton Pattaya Resort. www.sheraton.com/samui
