New Shama Properties for Asia

Onyx Hospitality Group has opened two new Shama serviced apartments properties, one in Hong Kong and the other in the Chinese city of Daqing.

Shama Daqing Heilongjiang and Shama Island North Hong Kong bring business travellers a stylish selection of residences in these two key financial cities.

Known as the “Oil Capital of China” and with the name literally meaning “Great Celebration”, Daqing is a prefecture-level city in Heilongjiang, one of the three northeastern provinces of China. The city sits atop China’s largest reserve of liquid gold, making it a highly prosperous centre of commerce.

Being the first internationally branded serviced apartments in Daqing, Shama Daqing Heilongjiang is situated in Sartu District, which is less than 30 minutes away from Daqing Sartu Airport and two hours from Harbin, the provincial capital. Shama Daqing offers 101 tastefully designed apartments, with studio to three-bedroom layouts available. Each elegantly furnished apartment features a fully equipped kitchenette, LED TV with international channels, air conditioning and heating with individual controls, laundry facility, Wi-Fi connectivity and other top-notch appliances.

Designed with guests’ relaxation in mind, Shama Daqing is outfitted with a series of state-of-the-art Shama signature facilities, including Shama Gym, a well-equipped fitness centre; Shama Wired, a business centre with a meeting room; and the 114-square-metre Shama Den, a chill lounge where guests can leisurely hang out.  In addition, the property houses a mini cinema, a wine and cigar bar, a supermarket, and a Chinese and Japanese restaurant with private rooms, all aimed at enhancing the comfort of guests residing at Shama Daqing.
