Sedona Hotel Yangon Opens its New Inya Wing

Sedona Hotel Yangon, Myanmar, has opened its new Inya Wing, designed by award-winning Singapore firm Forum Architects and hospitality design firm Studio HBA.

The new 29-storey wing features an additional 431 well-appointed guest rooms and suites, along with a grand lobby. The interiors of the new wing feature traditional Burmese art and materials which are artfully infused with modern Asian influences. The traditional Burmese umbrella is a key motif that runs throughout the new wing, starting with the magnificent lighting centrepiece in the main lobby and the fritted glass ceiling.

“Today, we open the doors to exciting new experiences and raising the benchmark in hospitality in Myanmar, building on the good reputation and track record of Sedona Hotel Yangon.” says president of regional investments at Keppel Land Ng Ooi Hooi.

The Inya Wing is linked to the existing hotel block via a new retail arcade and an elevated podium that houses a terrace featuring a swimming pool; Real Fitness Signature Club, a fitness centre which offers guests the latest life fitness equipment and studios; and D’Cuisine, an all-day restaurant offering Southeast Asian, East Asian, as well as Western cuisine. www.sedonahotels.com.sg
