New Travel Savvy Suitcases

Luggage brand Tumi is the latest case producer to turn to recycled materials to construct its newest line, Tumi Merge.

The brand’s newest take on its first-ever travel collection, Tumi Merge’s cases feature body fabric made from post-industrial recycled nylon and interior fabric lining made from post-consumer recycled PET material, derived from recycled plastic bottles.

The recycled materials have been tested to meet Tumi’s rigorous quality standards and are extremely tough in order to deliver travel cases that can stand the test of time for modern business travellers.

In addition to a series of sturdy four-wheeled cases – each with bumper corners, and 3-stage telescoping handle – that’s available in a range of muted colours, the new collection also features a wheeled backpack and a small compact wheeled brief (not available in Hong Kong) that features a padded laptop pocket and a host of organisational pockets.

Tumi has also relaunched the 19 Degree Polycarbonate collection as an exciting exclusive line only available in Asia-Pacific. The collection is masterfully wrapped in a special film purposefully employed to reflect light as the bag moves, and is presented in sophisticated new colorways of Hairline Blackberry, Hairline Navy, and Hairline Black.

In addition, Tumi has added striking new colours to its popular 19 Degree Aluminum range. A masterful combination luxury and innovation, the 19 Degree Aluminum collection features reinforced frame case designs, snap closures, and die-cast corner caps that offer outstanding durability. These sturdy cases are now available in blush and bright lime, allowing travellers to add a flash of colour when on the road.
