Novotel Vijayawada Varun Opens in Andhra Pradesh

AccorHotels has opened its 227 room Novotel Vijayawada Varun, the first international hotel to open in Andhra Pradesh’s commercial centre. Its premiere in Vijayawada affirms the growing popularity of AccorHotels’ revered international, elegant, and full-service brand.

Strategically located in the heart of the city, Novotel Vijayawada is just a 45-minute ride from the International Airport and a 20-minute ride from the Vijayawada railway station. The city itself is the commercial headquarters of Andhra Pradesh and in close proximity to the upcoming smart city and de facto capital Amravati – attracting both business and leisure travellers. Guests travelling for business and meetings can choose from seven well-appointed meeting rooms and a 10,000 sq. ft banquet hall, making the hotel an ideal MICE location in the state’s bustling commercial capital.

The first, their signature all-day dining Food Exchange offers a melange of international cuisines and local delicacies replete with chefs on-hand to interact with guests. Wugan –  the Chinese kitchen – is designed to be a social hub serving authentic Chinese food. Additionally, the hotel’s rooftop restaurant reveals idyllic views of the city and a great place to kick back with friends and family. Those looking for their favourite tipple can venture to The Gourmet Bar within the hotel lobby, which offers a wide variety of elaborate cocktails.
