New Novotel for Central Perth

Accor and the Fragrance Group will open the new 431-room Novotel Perth Murray St this month, adding to the city’s fast-growing tourism infrastructure.

The brand new Novotel will open in a prime location at 388 Murray Street right next to Shafto Lane and its popular eateries and bars. It will feature a spectacular 12th-floor fitness and spa facility including a pool, steam room, day spa and sauna; four bars and restaurants, four meeting rooms and a conference room for up to 120 people banquet style, and spacious modern rooms that will feature some of the best technology in the city.

Designed with sustainable materials and offering a digital experience, the Novotel Perth Murray St will set new benchmarks for the Novotel brand and become a landmark in the city.

This will be the second hotel for Fragrance Group and Accor in Australia, following the success of the Ibis Styles Hobart, which is the largest hotel in Tasmania.

The project has been fast-tracked to take advantage of the Summer peak travel period in Australia, with the first phase seeing 40 rooms open in December and a staged opening for the rest of the rooms and public spaces into next year. It is expected that the hotel will be fully operational by Q1 2020.

Guests will be able to take advantage of the dining outlets at the nearby Art Series hotel, The Adnate, whose Hyde Perth Kitchen + Cocktails just opened to huge acclaim; Peppers Kings Square Hotel; Mantra on Murray; and ibis Perth’s Rubix Bar and Murray St Grill, all of which are just a short stroll away from the Novotel and are part of the Accor group.

Accor is the largest operator of hotels in Perth and is committed to developing the tourism industry in Western Australia.
