New Routes for American Airlines

American Airlines has added 25 new routes in time for summer, including the only U.S. services to Dubrovnik in Croatia and Bologna in Italy.

Between June 6-8, American is adding 23 new routes to its vast network of more than 6,800 daily flights. In addition to the new European services, American Airlines will add new routes to Halifax, Nova Scotia from Philadelphia and New York (LGA).

American proudly offers the only direct service from its hubs to key destinations throughout its network; AA is the only airline with direct flights to Santo Domingo, the Dominican Republic from Dallas-Fort Worth and Charlotte, North Carolina, and the only carrier to provide a convenient escape from New York to Jackson Hole, Wyoming. The airline also recently announced services to Huatulco and Acapulco in Mexico and Caribbean destinations including St Thomas and St Lucia.

“The summer is the best time of year to get out and see the world, and we want to give our customers the most options with the best schedules to the places that matter most,” says Vasu Raja, vice president of Network and Schedule Planning for American. “With new destinations across the Atlantic like Bologna or across the U.S. like Kalispell, Montana, we want everyone to make summer memories that will last a lifetime.”
