Air France has opened n elegant new first and business class lounge at Los Angeles International Airport’s Tom Bradley terminal.
Close to the boarding gates for the airline’s flights, this calm and cozy space is ideal for relaxing, having a bite to eat and enjoying the French travel experience offered by Air France as soon as you arrive at the airport, before boarding or between flights.
This lounge is dedicated to Air France’s La Première, Business and Flying Blue Elite Plus customers, and is also open to eligible customers of KLM and SkyTeam partner airlines. Open daily from 9 a.m. to 11:30 p.m., the 1,100-sqm lounge caters to 172 passengers.
Designed by Air France teams together with the agency SGK Brandimage, this elegant and refined lounge has several different areas to suit every business traveller’s needs. The entire space is an invitation to discover the company’s universe, featuring its signature colours – shades of blue, luminous whites and touches of red – giving a sleek, chic design. The furniture has been carefully chosen and includes creations by famous French designers such as the Ester chairs by Patrick Jouin, the Ribbon armchairs by Pierre Paulin, coffee tables by Charlotte Perriand and lighting creations by Margaux Keller.
Showcasing French Cuisine
At the heart of the lounge, a dining area showcases French cuisine. Reminiscent of the style of Parisian brasseries, it features individual seating, a large communal table conducive to creating a convivial atmosphere, and private alcoves. Evolving throughout the day, the gastronomic offer features hot or cold options, savoury or sweet dishes, and vegetarian menus. From Monkfish Provencale, and Beef Bourguignon, to braised chicken, a selection of dishes invites corporate travellers to discover the gourmet flavours of France. A chef also prepares dishes on request in an open kitchen, such as pan-fried prawns or cassoulet with duck confit, delighting both the eyes and the taste buds.
A bar offers a wide selection of French wines and champagnes, spirits and local beers, as well as cocktails and mocktails prepared by a bartender. There is plenty of comfortable bar seating and more private areas with comfortable booth seating and armchairs.
To develop its dining offer in a more sustainable way, Air France favours local and seasonal produce. In addition, the airline pays particular attention to limiting food waste, selective sorting and recycling its catering services. Finally, water fountains and drinks dispensers are available to limit the consumption of single-use plastics.
A Dedicated Wellness Offering
From September, the new lounge will also feature a spa treatment area by Clarins, which has been an Air France partner for nearly 20 years. Clarins teams will welcome Air France customers in two cozy cabins, offering a choice of three free facial treatments: “anti jetlag”, “instant detox” and “illuminating eye-care”. These mixed beauty rituals are designed to relax and relieve stress. With each treatment, Clarins’ massage techniques combined with products rich in plant extracts guarantee total well-being for our customers. Reservations can be made at the reception desk in the Clarins treatment area of the Air France lounge while La Première customers can also book this treatment by calling their dedicated number.
A Space for La Première Guests
At the heart of the lounge, customers traveling in the La Première cabin now have a private area just for them. Designed in the same way as the La Première suites available on board, it offers a particularly comfortable, chic and made-to-measure layout. Bathed in soft light and with a privileged view of the runways, it can seat twelve guests and has its own dining area. In the Clarins area, La Première customers can also choose a “de-stress” treatment designed exclusively for them.
A Space for Each Traveller
Flying Blue Ultimate customers also have access to an area entirely reserved for them, located close to the dining area. This exclusive alcove features large armchairs to make our customers feel at home.
Out of sight, another area is dedicated to relaxation and rest, in a more subdued atmosphere. There’s also a work area with large ergonomic armchairs, and a closed-off cabin for making calls to ensure peace and quiet in the lounge.
The reception area is equipped with eligibility kiosks for easier access. There is also free Wi-Fi and numerous electric and USB sockets near the seats. For optimum well-being, shower cubicles are available throughout the day to freshen up.
